Flip-Top Vacuum Frame Press – 126" x 66" Inside Dimension
The FP510-6-3 Flip-Top Vacuum Frame Press is built for high-output veneering of large panels up to 5' x 10'. Featuring the same 126" x 66" inside pressing area, this model is optimized for production environments where durability and repeatability are critical.
This version includes a .030" polyurethane membrane top with 6" gusseted corners. The thicker .030" membrane provides increased durability and wear resistance, making it ideal for flat panel production and repetitive pressing cycles. While slightly less flexible than the .020", it still performs reliably across a wide range of veneering applications.
The 6" gusseted corners allow for stacking two to three 3/4" panels, maximizing throughput and efficiency.
Constructed from heavy-duty aluminum, the frame maintains excellent rigidity and long-term performance. The flip-top design improves workflow by allowing quick loading and unloading of large panels.
Like all Q.V.P. frame presses, this unit ships in kit form with pre-applied adhesive tape for membrane installation and easy-to-assemble corner hardware.
Detailed instructions are included for assembly and table construction. The table and baseboard are not included and must be provided by the user.
| Feature | .020" Polyurethane (FP510-6-2) | .030" Polyurethane (FP510-6-3) |
|---|---|---|
| Flexibility | High – conforms easily over curves and detail | Moderate – best for flatter work |
| Durability | Standard duty | Heavy-duty / longer lifespan |
| Best For | Curved work, detailed veneering, general use | Flat panels, production work, repeated cycles |
| Wear Resistance | Good | Excellent |
| Panel Stacking | 2–3 panels | 2–3 panels |
Choose .020" (FP510-6-2) for maximum flexibility and versatility
Choose .030" (FP510-6-3) for durability and production efficiency
In simple terms:
.020" = flexibility and conformity
.030" = strength and longevity
